¡¡¡¡The metallic ring pad is subject to forging, heat treatment and machining. It is a kind of metallic.The metallic ring pad is subject to forging, heat treatment and machining. It is a kind of metallic high-temperature, high-pressure valve covers, etc. The product is especially suitable to situations with pressure and temperature fluctuations to maintain fine sealing performance. Regular R-type pad is divided into oval type or octagonal type in terms of cross section. Standard R-type ring pad is manufactured according to API6A and ASMEB16.20 specifications. The maximum operational pressure is 10000PSI. In dovetail groove flange the octagonal pad and oval pad are interchangeable. RX-type octagonal pad is applicable for standard R-type rind pad with enhanced pressure and flange groove sealing face identical to that of the R-type.BX-type octagonal pad is applicable for systems with enhanced pressure and design application as high as 15000PSI. We provide a variety of materials and types for different design and operational requirements. Please refer to the table of material properties.
Note: When octagonal type is chosen, the material hardness of the pad should be 15~20HB lower than that of the flange face. It is recommended the pad is not recycled.
